Police seal off park to investigate sex attack on teen

Police are investigating a sex attack on a teenage girl in a Glasgow park.

Elder Park in Govan has been locked down as officers investigate the incident, which took place on Sunday night.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Glasgow are investigating following a report that a teenage girl was the victim of a sexual offence in the Elder Park area in the evening of Sunday, January 3. 

“Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing.”
