Police 'increasingly concerned' for 'missing' 14-year-old girl

Officers have issued an appeal to the public to help find the teenager.

A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing from Fife, Police Scotland has said.

The force has issued an appeal to help trace the girl.

June Gardner was last seen at around 4.20pm on Tuesday in the Clarimalt Drive area of Kirkcaldy.

She is described as around 5ft 6ins, of slim build with long blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a black and white puffer jacket and black leggings. 

The teenager is known to frequent Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Leven. 

Sergeant Johnny Lister said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for June’s welfare and we want to make sure she is safe and well.

“If anyone has seen her or knows where she might be then please get in touch with us via 101, quoting reference 2234 of August 15.”
