A 23-year-old man is in hospital after a “disturbance” in Glasgow.
Police were called to Firhill Street shortly after 5pm on Thursday, where the man was found badly hurt.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
Officers have stepped up patrols in the area while the incident is investigated.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called around 5.15pm on Thursday, March 12, after a report of a disturbance on Firhill Street, Glasgow.
“A 23-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition is described as stable.
“There are additional police patrols in the area to provide public reassurance and anyone with concerns should speak to officers.”
