A man has been left fighting for his life in hospital after being assaulted in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance on Wyndford Road, Maryhill, at around 9.10pm on Monday, where a 31-year-old man was discovered with serious injuries.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a critical condition.
Officers have launched an appeal for any witnesses into the incident to make themselves known.
Detective sergeant David Whyte, Maryhill CID, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“If you saw anything or have any information, including dash cam or doorbell camera footage, please pass it on to us as it could assist us in our ongoing enquiries as we piece together the full circumstances.”
