Police ScotlandA search to find a missing woman from Ayrshire has been launched by police.
Melanie Gibson has been missing from the Carron Place area of Irvine since Tuesday.
The 29-year-old was last seen in the town around 2.40pm.
She is described as around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with long dark hair.
It is not known what she is currently wearing.
Sergeant Melanie Fraser said: “I am asking anyone who may have seen Melanie since Tuesday afternoon or have any information on her whereabouts to please come forward.
“Likewise, if Melanie sees this appeal, please get in touch with either us or your family who just want to know that you are safe and well.
“If you believe you can assist our efforts to trace Melanie, please call 101, quoting incident 2877 of September 28.”
