An investigation has been launched after a man was assaulted while waiting at a train station ticket office in Glasgow.
British Transport Police have appealed for information following the incident at Partick train station on January 2.
Police said the victim was standing in the queue at the ticket office around 1pm when another man, who was part of a larger group, walked up behind him and removed his scarf.
The victim challenged the man who was removing his scarf but was then assault by another member of the group.
The suspect has been described as being a white man of medium build and around 5ft 10 in height.
He was reportedly wearing a black hoody or jacket with the hood up, black jogging bottoms and a black face covering.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016, with reference 318 02/01/2024.”
