A 16-year-old girl has been raped near a park.
The teenager was walking in a wooded area near the entrance to Dawsholme Park, at Ilay Court in Bearsden when she was attacked around 8.10pm on Monday.
Police are now hunting the attacker and have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Police Scotland is carrying out enquiries after a 16-year-old woman was seriously sexually assaulted at Dawsholm Park at 8.10pm on Monday 1 June.
“Anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident is asked to contact officers on 101.”
