Police have launched an investigation after a man was attacked in a “shocking” street robbery.
The 38-year-old victim was assaulted by two men and robbed of a three-figure sum of money following the incident in Glasgow.
The man was targeted in the Lambhill Bridge area on Balmore Road at around 2pm on Wednesday, April 1.
PC Kirstie Black said: “We have been carrying out enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who either witnessed the robbery take place, or saw anything suspicious in the area during the afternoon of April 1.
“Thankfully, the victim only sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment, but this was a shocking incident and anyone with information should get in touch with us.”
