Police officers have found seven bags on cannabis worth more than £25,000 while on patrol in Glasgow.

Officers in Pollok discovered seven vacuum bags of the class A drug with a total weight of 7.2kg, and a total street value of approximately £26,500.

Enquiries into the discovery remain ongoing at this time.

A spokesperson said: “While on patrol, Pollok Community officers recovered seven vacuum bags full of herbal cannabis with a total weight of 7.2kg and a street value of approx £26,000.

“Enquiries are ongoing with police following a positive line of enquiry.

“Keeping people safe and drugs off your streets.”
