A man’s body has been found in the centre of a town in Renfrewshire.
Police have closed off Houston Square in Johnstone and are investigating the death of a 58-year-old man.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Around 2.55am on Saturday, 13 May, 2023, police received a report of a 58-year-old man’s body being found in Houston Square, Johnstone.
“Officers are in attendance and the death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing.”
