Emergency services have attended a high street in Ayrshire after reports that a car crashed into a building.

Prestwick’s Main Street was closed following the incident, which took place at around 12.40pm on Saturday, May 28.

It is not clear at this stage whether anyone was injured as a result of the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022, police were called to the Main Street area of Prestwick, following a report of a car crashing into a building.

“Emergency services remain at the scene and the road is currently closed.”
