A man has been arrested and charged after a 17-year-old girl was attacked.

The incident took place on Dixon Street in Hamilton at around 8pm on Saturday, September 24.

Police have now confirmed that a 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attack.

He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, September 30.
