Police have appealed for information after a man was assaulted in Dumbarton.
The 47-year-old was attacked on Cumbrae Crescent North around 7pm on July 14 and had to be taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Officers are looking to trace a man who is described as having ginger hair and stubble, around 20-years-old and of heavier build.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection and released pending further enquiries.
Detective Constable Hanley said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private space CCTV or dashcam footage within the area at the time of the incident to come forward.”
