A number of ScotRail services have been suspended after a person was struck by a train in Glasgow.
The incident happened between Glasgow Central Station and Barrhead and emergency crews are currently at the scene.
The extent of the person’s injuries is currently unknown.
ScotRail announced that all trains passing through the affected route are now suspended.
This includes Glasgow Central to East Kilbride, Glasgow Central to Barrhead and Glasgow Central to Kilmarnock via Barrhead.
The rail firm tweeted: “Sadly, a person has been hit by a train between Glasgow Central and Barrhead.
“We’re working closely with emergency services during this time and will keep you updated.”
