A person has been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash at rush hour on a busy motorway on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the M74 near Glasgow shortly after 4pm on April 24 to a report of a three-vehicle crash.
One person was taken to Wishaw Hospital where their condition is currently unknown.
The road was closed for almost two hours and reopened at around 5.50pm.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Around 4.10pm on Monday, 24 April, 2023 we received a report of a three-vehicle crash southbound on the M74, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and one person was taken to Wishaw Hospital.
“The road was cleared around 5.50pm.”
