A person has been charged following a four-vehicle crash on a busy motorway around rush hour on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the M73 near junction 2 northbound in Glasgow at around 3.40pm on Wednesday, April 19.
The road was closed for just under two hours while motorists faced delays of around 45 minutes.
The road re-opened at around 5.10pm.
Police confirmed that one person had been charged in connection with the collision.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3.40pm on Wednesday, April 19, to a report of a four vehicle crash on the M73, near junction 2, northbound, in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the road was closed. The road re-opened around 5.10pm.
“One person has been charged in connection.”
