People 'should not approach' man who disappeared from city centre

People ‘should not approach’ man Dogan Atik who disappeared from Glasgow city centre Police Scotland

Glasgow’s public has been warned not to approach a man who has been missing for more than four days.

Dogan Atik, 30, was last seen in the Rodney Street area at around 7.30pm on Saturday, April 1.

He is described as being 5ft 7in tall with short black hair.

He was last known to be wearing a black parka jacket with a black top underneath, black jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Mr Atik also has links to the Nottingham area in England.

Detective Inspector Barrie Kirkland said: “We want to trace Dogan as quickly as possible and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to him since the evening of Saturday, April 1.

“The public should not approach him but should report any sightings to Police Scotland immediately.

“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting reference 3923 of April 3, or speak to any officer.”
