A pensioner has died in hospital after being left fighting for her life following a crash on the A82 near Luss.

Margaret Henderson, from Kirkintilloch in East Dunbartonshire, was injured in the two-vehicle crash at around 3.20pm on Saturday, August 28.

The 77-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but died from “medical complications” on Wednesday, September 8.

Two men, a 51-year-old and a 76-year-old, were also hurt in the crash.

Police said they were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley with the older man’s injuries described as serious.

Sergeant Nicola Taylor said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Margaret and enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.

”Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 2591 of Saturday, August 28, 2021.
