A man who was left seriously injured after being struck by a van on the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow has died.
The 74-year-old left his blue Toyota Corolla on the M8 eastbound before being struck at around 10am on Thursday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, as well as a special operation response unit and a trauma team.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died two days later.
The 30-year-old driver of the van, a white Mercedes Sprinter, was not injured in the incident.
Police say enquiries into the incident are ongoing and asked anyone with any information to contact them on 101.
