A missing woman who was last seen in a city centre intended to board a train, police have said.

Anne Green, 61, from the Chryston area in North Lanarkshire was reported missing after she was last seen at around 7.15am in Glasgow city centre on Tuesday, March 5.

Police say Ms Green intended to board a train to Edinburgh and then return to Glasgow but that her movements are unknown.

She is described as being 5ft 3in tall and of slim build with fair/blonde hair.

She was last known to be wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, white trainers and carrying a black handbag.

A Police Scotland statement read: “Anyone who may have seen or spoken to Anne is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0924 of March 6, 2024.”
