Police are keen to speak to two men, pictured, who they believe could assist with an investigation.

Police have launched a bid to trace two men as part of a probe into an attempted fraud in a Renfrewshire village.

Officers released CCTV pictures of the pair who they believe could assist with their investigation into the incident on Friday, February 4, in Kilbarchan Road, Bridge of Weir.

The first man is described as white, of a slim build and with short brown hair.

The second man is described as Asian in appearance, of a medium build, with a shaved head.

Both men are pictured wearing rubber gloves and masks.

Detective Jamie Howarth, of Paisley Police Office, said: “We would ask the men in the images, or anyone who recognises them, to contact officers through 101 with reference number KB00580222, or incident 3359 of February 4, 2022.

“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
