A man who sexually assaulted two schoolchildren has been jailed for 16 months.
Ali Hassan repeatedly groped a 14-year-old girl at a property in Glasgow’s Parkhead on September 27, 2014.
The 45-year-old also repeatedly groped a 13-year-old boy at a property in the city’s Newbank.
Hassan also attempted to perform a sex act on the boy.
Hassan committed the offence on the 13-year-old between September 19, 2016 and May 17, 2019.
On Monday, a jury at Glasgow Sheriff Court found Hassan guilty of both charges after a trial.
Hassan was cleared of intentionally sending the 13-year-old a video of a naked child.
He was also found not guilty of an alternative charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by sending the boy the video.
Sheriff Martin Jones QC placed Hassan on the sex offenders’ register for ten years.
