A man was taken to hospital following a “serious assault” at a block of flats in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Lincoln Avenue at around 5.10pm on Wednesday.

A 39-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance. His current condition is unknown.

Enquiries remain ongoing at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Wednesday, 24 April, 2024 officers were made aware of a serious assault at Lincoln Avenue, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
