Man taken to hospital after 'stabbing' in west end of city

A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital following reports of a stabbing.

A man has been taken to hospital after police were called to reports of a stabbing in Glasgow.

Officers responded to the incident on Maryhill Road at around 3.10pm on Wednesday following reports of a man being stabbed.

A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Maryhill Road, Glasgow, at around 3.10pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 following a report a man had been stabbed.

“Emergency services attended and a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
