A man has been taken to hospital for treatment after being involved in a serious assault.
Police have launched an appeal for information following the assault that happened around 4.30pm on Wednesday, October 25.
The incident took place in the Main Street area near Bank Street in West Dunbartonshire.
The 38-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
Detective constable, Jade Sutherland, said: “Extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation to contact officers.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident 2521 of October 25.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
