Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed near train station 

Police were called to a report of the injured man shortly before 5am on Monday.

A man is in hospital after he was stabbed near a Glasgow train station in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police were called at around 4.45am on November 20 to a report of a 29-year-old man found seriously injured in Elmbank Gardens near Charing Cross.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.45am on Monday, November 20, police were called to a report of a 29-year-old man seriously assaulted in Elmbank Gardens, Glasgow.

“He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and enquiries are ongoing.”
