A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash in North Lanarkshire.
The collision occurred around 12.30pm on Sunday when a white-coloured BMW 320 car exiting the southbound M74 junction slip road collided with a white Yamaha motorbike travelling east on Lanark Road near Larkhall.
The 63-year-old male motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Wishaw for treatment.
The 36-year-old BMW driver was not injured following the crash.
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the crash or may have dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch.
Anyone with information should contact police at Wishaw via 101 quoting incident number 1604 of March 20.
