Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries following a disturbance in Glasgow on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to Hathaway Lane in the Maryhill area at around 12.55pm on May 15 after receiving a report of a disturbance.
A police presence remained in the area with cordons taped up for several hours, residents said.
Emergency services attended and two men, aged 31 and 36, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
The 36-year-old man has since been discharged.
Police added that two men, aged 35 and 36, have also been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a disturbance on Hathaway Lane in Glasgow around 12.55pm on Monday, 15 May, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 31 and 36, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. The 36-year-old man has been discharged.
“Two men aged 35 and 36 have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
