Man left in hospital with serious hand injury after being assaulted at flat

A man was left in hospital with a hand injury after being seriously attacked at a property in Glasgow.

Police were called to Hollybrook Street in the southside at around 7.30pm on Thursday after a 46-year-old man was attacked.

Emergency services took him to hospital, for treatment to a serious hand injury.

Enquiries remain ongoing at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a report of a serious assault which occurred within a property in Hollybrook Street, Glasgow, at around 7.30pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

“A 46-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious hand injury.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
