A man has been left in hospital after being seriously assaulted in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to the North Barr area of Erskine at around 5pm on Saturday.
A 36-year-old man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment after being assaulted.
His current condition is unknown.
Officers are continuing to conduct enquires within the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023, police were called to the North Barr area of Erskine, following a report of a serious assault.
A 36-year-old man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
“Officers remain in the area and enquiries are ongoing.”
