A man is being treated in hospital after being deliberately struck by a car in Glasgow in a hit and run.
The 42-year-old man was injured after being struck by the vehicle on Achamore Road in Drumchapel shortly after 11pm on Thursday.
Police said the car drove off following the incident.
The man was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff have described his condition as “stable”.
Enquiries are ongoing in a bid to trace the vehicle, officers said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.05pm on Thursday, April 4 2024, a 42-year-old man was injured after being deliberately struck by a vehicle on Achamore Road, Drumchapel, Glasgow.
“He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“The car drove off after the incident. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the car and the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
