Hospital staff has described the 32-year-old as being in a critical condition.

A man is in hospital fighting for his life after being struck by a car in Glasgow on Saturday night.

At around 10pm on November 25, a 32-year-old man was walking on Cowcaddens Road, between its junctions with Cambridge Street and Hope Street, when he was struck by a Ford Ecosport.

Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where staff describe his condition as critical.

The female driver of the car was uninjured.

Police investigating the incident have urged anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

Sergeant Jack Swindells of the Road Policing Unit based at Helen Street, Glasgow said: “Our investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident is ongoing.

“I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist to contact us. I would also urge anyone driving on the road around the time of the crash with dashcam footage to get in touch.”
