A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in Glasgow.
The 23-year-old victim was attacked in Kingsacre Road – in the King’s Park area of the city – at around 8.30pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds.
Medics described his condition as critical.
Police are treating the attack as attempted murder.
Detective inspector Iain Sneddon said: “Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries into this attempted murder to establish the exact circumstances and trace whoever is responsible for this attack.
“We are following a number of lines of enquiry at this time.”
