The death of a man who was found injured on a street in Glasgow is being treated as “unexplained”, police have said.
Officers were called to the William Street area of the city at around 11.50pm on Friday following reports of a man being seriously injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said there do not appear to be suspicious circumstances but the death is being treated as unexplained at this time.
A spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a man having been found seriously injured in the William Street area of Glasgow around 11.50pm on Friday, May 24, 2024.
“Emergency services attended, however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
