Man dies after motorbike involved in crash with van

A 27-year-old man died in hospital following the collision in Glasgow on Monday.

A man has died after his motorbike collided with a van in Glasgow.

The 27-year-old died in hospital following the crash just before 11am on Monday.

He was riding a red and white Honda motorcycle in Kings Park Avenue when it collided with a white Volkswagen van.

The van driver was uninjured and police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

They said a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Sergeant Jon Mochan, from Glasgow’s road policing unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact us, as they may have information that will assist our investigation.

“I am also keen to hear from any drivers who were on the road at the time who have dash-cam footage, which could also assist our ongoing enquiries into this crash.”
