A man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a petrol station in West Dunbartonshire.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning at a petrol station on Main Street, Alexandria, at around 3.15am.
On Wednesday, police confirmed a 45-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
The man is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A police spokesperson said: “A 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Alexandria.
“The incident happened around 3.15am on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at a petrol station on Main Street, Alexandria.
“The man is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday, March 14, 2024.”
