A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged double stabbing in Glasgow.
Officers attended an incident involving a knife on the city’s Govan Road at around 9pm on Thursday night.
A 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were taken to hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged after officers were called to a report that a man and a woman had been seriously assaulted on Govan Road, Glasgow, around 9pm on Thursday.
“A 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“The 31-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.”
