A man has been charged in connection with the death of a man at a house in North Lanarkshire.
Officers were called to an address on Shiel Gardens in Shotts on the morning of May 9 following reports of a man being found seriously injured.
The man, named by police as John Cairns, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 39-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, May 17.
