A football fan has been charged following “reckless conduct” at the Scottish Cup Final.

Officers confirmed that a 20-year-old man has been charged with “culpable and reckless conduct” at Hampden Stadium on June 3, 2023.

The “reckless conduct” took place after Celtic faced Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup Final and won 3-1.

The charge comes after a CCTV appeal was launched by the force to trace individuals they believe could help with their ongoing investigation.

A further appeal has been launched following the charge to track down other people involved in the incident.

Constable Daniel Brady of the Greater Glasgow Football Enquiry Unit said: “I would urge each of the men pictured, or anyone who has information relating to them, to make contact with us.

“You should call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1878 of June 3, 2023 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
