Google MapsA man has been arrested and charged after a woman was raped in Glasgow city centre.
Officers said the early morning attack took place between 5am and 6am on Sunday on Mitchell Street, close to Glasgow Central Station.
A 32-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the serious sexual assault of a woman which happened between 5.20am and 6am on Sunday, November 26, in Mitchell Street, Glasgow.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
