A man has been arrested after a woman and teenage girl were both sexually assaulted outside a McDonald’s restaurant in East Renfrewshire.
The 26-year-old has been charged in connection with the attacks on the 23-year-old woman and 15-year-old girl on Main Street, Thornliebank.
The incidents are said to have taken place just minutes apart at around 2.30pm on Sunday.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the arrest on Wednesday.
He said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the sexual assaults of two females, aged 15 and 23, which occurred in the Main Street area of Thornliebank around 2.30pm on Sunday, November 7.
“He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.”
