A man has been charged after a replica ‘gun’ was found near Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Police were called to the Mount Annan Drive area of the city at around 5.20pm on Thursday, where they recovered a replica weapon.
A 23-year-old man was charged and reported in connection with firearms offences.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 23-year-old man has been charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with firearms offences, following the recovery of a replica weapon in the Mount Annan Drive area of Glasgow, on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
“There was no risk to the public.”
