A man has been charged after a midnight crash which killed a 63-year-old pedestrian in Paisley.
In the early hours of Sunday, November 27, 2022, officers responded to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car at around 12.20am on Brediland Road.
The 63-year-old pedestrian, who has been named as Jim Paterson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that a 26-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection.
He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and is expected to appear at court at a later date.
