A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery of a “imitation firearm” in Glasgow.
Officers were called to the Kay Street area of Springburn at around 7pm on Friday following a report of a man believed to be in possession of a weapon.
Upon attendance, officers recovered an imitation firearm.
A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7pm on Friday, 3 May, 2024, police were called to the Kay Street area of Springburn, Glasgow, following a report of a man believed to be in possession of a weapon.
“Officers attended and an imitation firearm was recovered.
“A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.”
