A man has been charged after a disturbance within a store that prompted a police chase in Glasgow.

Officers were alerted to the incident within a store on Dixon Road around 7.45pm on Saturday.

Police said two males ran into Queens Park following the disturbance.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024, police received a report of a disturbance within a store in Dixon Road, Glasgow.

“Following the incident, two males ran into Queens Park. Shortly thereafter, a man aged 30 was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

“He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, July 15, 2024.”
