A man has been charged after a “disturbance” in a Glasgow park on Monday evening left another man in hospital.
At around 6pm, emergency services were called to Queen’s Park in the city’s Southside where a 29-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
On Tuesday, police confirmed a 31-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Monday, April 3, 2023, officers received a report of a disturbance at Queen’s Park, Glasgow.
“A 29-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
“He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
