A man has been left injured after being attacked in a Renfrew park.
The 23-year-old suffered shoulder and leg injuries during the serious assault that took place in Robertson Park on Saturday.
He was was walking in the area when he was assaulted at around 8pm.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital where he has been treated for his injuries.
There are currently no details available on the person or people responsible, however police are asking anyone who was in the park on Saturday evening to contact them.
Detective Constable Liam Rodgers, from Paisley CID, said: “Whilst we don’t have descriptions of the suspect or suspects in this case, we are asking for anyone who was in the Robertson Park area on Saturday evening to contact us, as any information could prove vital.”
