Police ScotlandA 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Stuart McGeachie in Rutherglen.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Farmeloan Road, at the junction with Victoria Street, at around 7pm on Tuesday, October 24.
Mr McGeachie, 38, was assaulted outside a premises on Farmeloan Road before making his way to a nearby flat where he was pronounced dead.
Detective chief inspector John Morrison said: “Our thoughts remain with Stuart’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
A 27-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
