A man has been arrested following a disturbance allegedly involving a machete on a street in Paisley.
Police were called to the town’s Stock Street at around 5.15am on Friday, after reports of a disturbance.
It is unknown if anyone was injured as a result.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a disturbance on Stock Street, Paisley, around 5.15am on Friday, April 28, 2023.
“Officer attended and a 37-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection. He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, May 1, 2023.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
