Man charged after police discover cannabis worth £65,000 at property

A man has been arrested and charged after police found cannabis worth £65,000 at a property in Glasgow.

Officers executed a search warrant at a property in the Tobago Place area of Glasgow on Friday where the cannabis was found.

A 39-year-old has subsequently been arrested and charged with alleged involvement in the incident.

He is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court.

Detective inspector Thomas Carey, of Greater Glasgow Serious and Organised Crime Pro-Active CID, said: “Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
